We've just published the response to a recent survey into how Airbnbs are transforming Cheltenham's housing landscape - and the results are alarming.

Our recent survey of local residents has uncovered the hidden crisis of short-term rentals: approximately 750 entire properties have been removed from the residential market, driving up rents and pushing out key workers and lower-income families.

Survey Highlights:

• 53% want short-term rentals discouraged and restricted
• 33% of respondents live next to an Airbnb property
• 47% are ready to lobby their local councillors
• Top demanded regulations include mandatory registration, income declaration checks, and neighborhood impact assessments
